A couple of weeks ago, the family was sitting at the table eating dinner. I was getting ready to go scrapbooking and had just grabbed my wheeled tote and bag and was guiding it through the dining room. Phillip looked at me and said "Are you going to the airport?". Ken nearly choked on his mouthful of dinner and I just burst out laughing. Way too cute!!

Life has been hectic so far this May! Between sick kids, hives breaking out on one child, Girl Scouts coming to an end, Staff appreciation at school, Spring Fling, birthdays and parties.....WHEW!! I am pooped out. But I am also saddened to see so many things in our lives wind down: scouts, school, spring, bible study. Things that will be missed, but I know will kick in again in the fall.

Being a mom

Everyday is full of fun times. Having 4 kids, you sure do smile a lot!! It is so interesting to see what personality God has blessed them with. Ashley is so very tender hearted and loving. Olivia is so squirrely and giggly and squishable. Phillip is caring and all boy full of energy and dance moves. Emily is loving life right now and she always brings joy to your day. At times I feel completely overwhelmed with all that is on my plate. But God always brings along little reminders at how wonderfully blessed I am with the these gifts from Him. Life is truly good.
